Zurich, 18 April 2013 – Peach Property Group AG, a leading developer of high-quality residential property in the German-speaking region of Europe, has launched in Switzerland a further luxury condominium project: “yoo wollerau”. The company is expanding its cooperation with the London-based international interior design and marketing firm, yoo Ltd., London, whose Creative Director is world-renowned designer Philippe Starck. “yoo inspired by Starck” will participate for the first time and exclusively in a Swiss construction project and bear responsibility for the interior design of the project of 18 upscale condominiums.
The sales volume of the project amounts to roughly CHF 59 million. The 18 loft-style 3½- to 6½-room apartments with floor space ranging from 110 m2 to 295 m2 will be constructed at a central location in the low-tax community of Wollerau not far from Zurich. “yoo wollerau” offers singles as well as couples and families highly attractive living quarters. Four “yoo inspired by Starck” design formats will be available to choose from: Nature, Classic, Culture and Minimal. Amongst the other amenities at the disposal of future residents of “yoo wollerau” are room heights of up to 3.70 metres, oversized windows and “canons à lumière”, high-quality interior fittings, a private spa facility with lounge, sauna, steam bath, a fitness room and an outdoor pool with a generously designed outdoor lounge, in a beautiful garden.
“yoo” was founded in 1999 by star designer Philippe Starck and property developer John Hitchcox and has been involved in more than 50 residential and hotel projects in 26 countries. Already in the high-profile “yoo berlin” project on the shores of the Spree in Berlin-Mitte, Peach Property Group has worked successfully with this London company.
