Peach Property Group celebrates laying of the corner-stone for “Living 108” in Chausseestrasse in Berlin-Mitte

Berlin/Zurich, 26 November 2013 – Peach Property Group AG, a leading developer of luxury residential properties in German-speaking countries in Europe has today laid the foundation stone for its fourth Berlin projects in the direct vicinity of the new headquarters of the German Federal Intelligence Service (BND). The successful completion of “Living 106” will now be followed by the neighbouring “Living 108”. The traditional cornerstone laying ceremony was attended by all those involved in the construction work together with numerous guests. Words of welcome were given by the architect Annette Axthelm, by Udo Sauter, Branch manager of the general cont-ractor Porr AG, and by Bernd Hasse, CEO of Peach Property Group (Deutschland) AG.

“With buyers for more than 65 % of the units so far  – over 45% registered and a further 20% reserved – and the envisaged completion in early 2015, we see the project proceeding fully according to plan”, explained Bernd Hasse to the audience. “And after the great success of our Living concept, we are currently examining the suitability of two attractive locations in Berlin for further Living projects.” Situated on the plot at Chausseestrasse 108/109 in Berlin-Mitte, “Living 108” consists of an ensemble of 128 luxury apartments with a total of 7,188 m² floor-space and three commercial units with a further 291 m² of floor-space. The design was the work of the Potsdam-based Axthelm Architects. KAIRONOS Invest AG is participating on the equity side. For Living 108, Peach Property Group is expecting to achieve a revenue volume of more than EUR 35 million.

The apartments with two to four rooms, offering between 38 m2 and 121 m2 of floor space, have prices ranging from EUR 197,500 to EUR 703,000. The condominium apartments, penthouses with roof terraces, and the “Living Suites” in Living 108 have been designed to meet a range of varying requirements. The “Living Suites” are apartments for letting with furnishings and additional services – a concept which has proved very attractive with private investors.

The residents will have their own community space with fitness area, a shared roof terrace offering a panorama view of Berlin, and an underground car park for 54 vehicles.

 

Sales ratio of more than 65% already achieved

“We are experiencing lively interest in our project here on the rapidly developing Chausseestrasse,” comments Dr Andreas Steinbauer, Head of Sales and Marketing at Peach Property Group AG, with regards to the good sales ratio of more than 65% since the start of the project: “Obviously we have hit on a range of living styles in Living 108 which are exactly right for both owner-occupiers and for private investors.”
