Peach strengthens financial engineering team

Zurich, July 3rd 2008 – Mirco Riondato joins Peach Property Group, effective 01 August 2008 as Managing Director of Investment Management.

Mirco Riondato brings to Peach over 20 years of Corporate and Real Estate financial expertise exclusively acquired from market leading Swiss banking institutions and property developers. His career began at UBS and over the next 15 years, managed UBS departments concentrating on Real Estate Finance (mortgages and construction loans), Workout (foreclosure), Valuation, Consultancy and Brokerage. In 2000, MIB AG Property + Facility Management hired Riondato to setup a new sales and marketing division. Five years later he was reporting to the Board of MIB AG as head of Commercial Property Consultancy & Sales. In 2005 he was named Regional Director (of German speaking Switzerland) by Implenia Real Estate AG where he successfully transferred his financial know-how to the newly merged Zschokke and Bati Group. Promoted to General Manager of Implenia Investment Management AG at the end of 2006, he was responsible for structuring and arranging the finance for project developments (debt, mezzanine and private equity) and to originate, design and place alternative real estate investments for funds and private investors in the field of Mezzanine and Private Equity. His last post was MD for Brick Finance, a privately held real estate specialty financial services firm.

Riondato has degrees in Economics (Betriebsökonom KSZH) and Real Estate Trustee (eidg. Dipl. Immoiblientreuhänder) and a Masters Degree in Real Estate Management from the Fachhochschule Biberach in partnership with the London South Bank University. Besides earning Certification as Private Equity Advisor (ebs/BAI), Riondato was admitted to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2005 and is currently a Board member of RICS Switzerland.
