Zurich, 16 August 2011 – As Chief Information Officer, Marcel Kucher will be responsible for optimising and automating internal business processes, enabling Peach Property Group to grow even more efficiently. Priority is being given to implementing projects in the fields of finance and accounting, marketing and sales as well as project and building management.

Integrated information system will drive growth
Thomas Wolfensberger, CEO and Delegate of the Board of Directors, explains: “Our vision is to incorporate the processes which create value for the appraisal and implementation of our real-estate projects into a single, interdisciplinary information system. An integrated platform will allow us to complete our projects even faster, more transparently and more rationally, and gain us further competitive advantages.”

Over the past eight years, Marcel Kucher has played a key role in building up the consultancy company a-connect in Switzerland and the USA, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Corporate Development. He managed the introduction of an SAP-based information system at all sites, which lent decisive support to the Group’s growth. Kucher had previously worked at McKinsey & Company and Credit Suisse, after completing his studies in economics at the University of Zurich and the London School of Economics and obtaining a doctorate.

New Head of Marketing and Communications
Joining Peach Property Group as Head of Marketing and Communications is Albert Halter, who had been with SWX Group since 2006. He has also served as Head of Corporate Communications and Head of External Communications at SIX Group. Earlier posts held include Manager External Communications at Barry Callebaut and Head of Communications at Swiss Re Asset Management. Halter studied at the University of Zurich, where he obtained the degree of Dr. phil. I. He takes over from Joel Blom, who has served the company successfully since 2008 and is now moving on to new challenges.

Rahman Rahmanzadeh winds up his successful activity
Peach Property Group’s business activities in Switzerland and Germany are now well established, with an expert managerial team in place for the areas of development as well as building and project management. Chief Construction Officer Rahman Rahmanzadeh has therefore decided to leave the company at the end of September and dedicate himself to new tasks. Chief Operating Officer Bruno Birrer will take over Rahmanzadeh’s duties in Switzerland while, in Germany, the two Managing Directors Bernd Hasse and Ralf Vorrink will assume this responsibility.
