Berlin: First Topping-out Ceremony of the Peach Property Group AG in Germany
Within less than a year the Living 106 residential building project will be completed in central Berlin.
Berlin, 24 September 2009 – The Peach Property Group AG based in Zurich has successfully entered the German market and is now celebrating its first topping-out ceremony in Chausseestrasse in Berlin, close to the new headquarters of the German Intelligence Service (BND). By mid-2010 the 5,300 m² of the “Living 106” project will accommodate a total of 76 apartments and a commercial unit.
The foundation stone for the development project consisting of two existing buildings and two new ones was laid last year by Vivacon AG, the former owners. The Peach Property Group AG acquired Living 106 in July, and meanwhile it also has another project under development in Berlin as well as ones in Hamburg and Düsseldorf.
Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger, CEO of the property developers is pleased that the construction work in Chausseestrasse could be continued without interruption after the change in ownership. “A lot of people are interested in the new flats and apartments, and 60 percent of these have already been sold.”
In addition to 22 condominium apartments and lofts at Chausseestrasse 106, there are also plans for 54 serviced apartments with up to 66 m² floor space. These are modern furnished apartments which offer the tenants additional all-round services such as room cleaning, concierge, and shopping and delivery. In addition, all residents have access to the in-house day-spa with sauna and fitness area as well as an underground garage.
Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger:
“If you consider how many people work in the Mitte district of Berlin and how few top-quality flats there are in comparison, then it seems high-time for housing projects like that of Peach – particularly in the area around Chausseestrasse”.
In the direct vicinity of Living 106, work is currently in progress on constructing the new Berlin headquarters of the German Intelligence Service (BND). Companies from the creative sectors are also increasingly interested in this location. The considerable number of jobs relocated to the area means that the demand for apartments there will continue to grow according to Wolfensberger.

Berlin: Erstes Richtfest der Peach Property Group AG in Deutschland
In knapp einem Jahr soll das Berliner Wohnungsbauprojekt „Living 106″ nahe der künftigen BND-Zentrale fertig gestellt sein.
Berlin, 24. September 2009 – Die Peach Property Group AG mit Hauptsitz in Zürich feiert nach erfolgreichem Eintritt in den deutschen Markt nun ihr erstes Richtfest in der Berliner Chausseestraße: Auf den 5.300 m² des Projektes „Living 106“ werden bis Mitte 2010 insgesamt 76 Wohnungen im gehobenen Segment sowie eine Gewerbeeinheit entstehen.
Die Grundsteinlegung für das Entwicklungsprojekt mit zwei Bestandsbauten und zwei Neubauten erfolgte im vergangenen Jahr noch durch die Vivacon AG, den vorherigen Eigentümer. Die Peach Property Group AG hatte im Juli diesen Jahres Living 106 von der Vivacon übernommen. Mittlerweile ist nun noch ein weiteres Projekt in Berlin sowie je eines in Hamburg und Düsseldorf in der Entwicklung.
Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger, der CEO des Immobilienentwicklers, freut sich darüber, dass die Bauarbeiten in der Berliner Chausseestraße unter Regie der Peach Property Group AG ohne Unterbrechung weitergehen: „Es gibt zahlreiche Interessenten für die hier neu entstehenden Wohnungen und Appartements. 60 Prozent der Eigentumswohnungen sind bereits verkauft.“
Neben den 22 Eigentumswohnungen und Lofts sollen in der Chausseestraße 106 aber auch 54 „Serviced Apartments“ von bis zu 66 m² Größe entstehen. Darunter versteht man eingerichtete moderne Appartements, die ihren Mietern zusätzliche Allround-Services wie Zimmerreinigung, Concierge und Einkaufsdienste anbieten. Außerdem stehen allen Bewohnern die hauseigene Day-Spa mit Sauna und Fitnessbereich sowie eine Tiefgarage zur Verfügung.
Dr. Thomas Wolfensberger:
„Wenn man bedenkt, wie viele Menschen in Mitte arbeiten und wie wenig wirklich hochwertige Wohnungen es im Vergleich dazu gibt, ist es höchste Zeit für Wohnungsbauprojekte wie jene von Peach – besonders in der Gegend rund um die Chausseestraße“.
In unmittelbarer Nähe zu Living 106 wird derzeit das neue Berliner Hauptquartier des Bundesnachrichtendienstes (BND) gebaut. Auch Unternehmen aus den kreativen Branchen fragen diesen Standort vermehrt nach. Allein durch die dort neu angesiedelten Arbeitsplätze werde der Bedarf an Wohnungen in diesem Quartier weiter steigen, schätzt Wolfensberger.

Peach Property Group AG to take over further real estate projects from Vivacon AG and to take over the development team of Vivacon AG
Zurich/Cologne, 22 September 2009 – Peach Property Group AG, one of Europe’s leading developers of luxury residential property, is to take over two further exclusive projects, „Hamburg – Harvestehuder Weg 36“ and „Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“, from Vivacon AG. At the same time, Peach Property Group AG is to boost its expertise in the development of luxury residential property by taking over a team of 16 employees from the development department of Vivacon AG and is appointing Rahman Rahmanzadeh as the Group’s new Chief Construction Officer. These moves will ensure uninterrupted supervision of existing and new projects by Peach Property Group AG.
Following the acquisition in July of two first-class properties from Vivacon AG in Berlin-Mitte and Düsseldorf, Peach Property Group AG is now also to acquire the „Hamburg – Harvestehuder Weg 36“ and „Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“ projects from Vivacon AG. Both parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase prices of the two projects. The project „Hamburg – Harvestehuder Weg 36“ involves the construction of 63 luxury owner-occupied apartments at a highly exclusive location very close to Hamburg’s Outer Alster Lake and comprises a project investment volume of around CHF 110 million (EUR 72 million). The project „Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“ comprises 86 luxury owner-occupied apartments covering a total living area of around 13,300 m². It also includes three commercial spaces, and the project investment volume amounts to around CHF 120 million (EUR 79 million).
Reinforcing expertise in real estate development
Peach Property Group AG is reinforcing its expertise in the area of development via its acquisition of a team of 16 employees from the development department of Vivacon AG. This will ensure uninterrupted supervision of all development projects by Peach Property Group AG. In addition, the Group has also appointed qualified engineer Rahman Rahmanzadeh as its new Chief Construction Officer. Mr Rahmanzadeh is renowned for his expertise in the development of complex real estate projects and has gained extensive experience in large-scale projects in Germany and Switzerland in particular.

With the flagship Hamburg-based project „Harvestehuder Weg 36“, Peach Property Group AG will be taking over a property with outstanding development potential. The property is situated in a top location just a few metres from Hamburg’s Outer Alster Lake. This large-scale project involves the construction of 5 four-storey buildings with a total of 63 luxury owner-occupied apartments. Completion of the property is scheduled for mid-2012.
„Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“
„Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“ is a property in an absolutely first-class location right on the river Spree and in the immediate vicinity of Berthold-Brecht-Platz and other cultural centres of Germany’s capital city. Yoo Berlin „am Zirkus“ is to be erected under licence from „Yoo“- luxury apartments by Philippe Starck, with Peach Property Group AG having secured the exclusive licence for the entire German-speaking region. A total of 86 luxury owner-occupied apartments covering a total living area of around 13,300 m² will be built. Given the central location, 3 commercial spaces are also planned. Completion of the property is scheduled for 2011. The total investment volume of „Yoo Berlin – am Zirkus“ amounts to around CHF 120 million (EUR 79 million).

Peach Property Group enters the German market – acquisition from Viacon AG of development projects in luxury residential property
Zurich/Cologne, 21 July 2009: After successful projects in Switzerland and Austria, the Peach Property Group AG, one of the leading developers of luxury residential property in Europe, is now also entering the German market with the acquisition of development properties at prime locations in Berlin and Düsseldorf.
The development projects consist of two first-class properties in the district of Berlin-Mitte and directly on the banks of the River Rhine in Düsseldorf, with a total investment volume of around 85 million euros. The Peach Property Group is acquiring these projects from the German property developer Vivacon AG and is thus increasing its current total investment volume to over 385 million euros.
At the beginning of June, the Peach Property Group drew up a purchase contract for three more Vivacon AG properties, and it is set to be completed by the end of August.
Dr Thomas Wolfensberger, CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of the Peach Property Group AG, said:
“Entering the German market, with the projects in Berlin-Mitte and directly on the banks of the River Rhine in Düsseldorf, represents a further important and logical step in the development of the Peach Group and underlines the Group’s strategy of investing exclusively in top-class locations.”
To prepare for this entry into the German market, Peach Property Group (Deutschland) GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of the Peach Property Group AG (Zurich), has been founded and has its registered office in Cologne. The purchase price was not disclosed.
“Living 106” in Berlin
In its showcase project for Berlin, “Living 106” at Chausseestrasse 106, the Peach Property Group is acquiring a property with outstanding potential for development. Just a few metres away lies Berlin’s largest construction site: the headquarters of the Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), the German Federal Intelligence Service. If nothing else, this major project and its unique location make the approximately 54 serviced apartments and 21 freehold apartments in planning an attractive investment. The Berlin-based company Berlin Capital Investments (www.berlin-capital.com) is responsible for marketing the existing and new-build apartments. 60% of the “Living 106” apartments are already sold, and the property is set to be completed in mid-2010.
“Luxury apartments by Philippe Starck” in Düsseldorf
The Theresienhospital, an historically listed building directly on the River Rhine in Düsseldorf’s old town, is being renovated and converted. To supplement the existing building, a new building containing three town houses and four apartments is being constructed on Ritterstrasse. A total of 45 high-quality residential and two ground-floor commercial units are thus being built and include design elements from star designer Philippe Starck. The sizes of the apartments range from 110 m2 to 250 m2, and the property is set to be completed in autumn 2011.
In conjunction with the development of the “Luxury apartments by Philippe Starck” in Düsseldorf, the Peach Property Group is also taking over the collaboration with YOO Ltd., the exclusive licensor of Philippe Starck in Europe. Thus the Peach Property Group is continuing in German-speaking Europe that which the exclusive Philippe Starck projects in Miami, London, Sydney, New York and other major international cities have initiated in terms of residential property of the highest quality.

Peach Property Group tritt in den Deutschen Markt ein – Übernahme von Entwicklungs-projekten im luxuriösen Wohnungsbau der Vivacon AG
Zürich/Köln, 21. Juli 2009: Die Peach Property Group AG, einer der führenden Entwickler von luxuriösem Wohneigentum in Europa, tritt nach erfolgreichen Projekten in der Schweiz und Österreich mit der Übernahme von Entwicklungsobjekten an erstklassigen Standorten in Berlin und Düsseldorf nun auch in den deutschen Markt ein.
Bei den Entwicklungsprojekten handelt es sich um zwei erstklassige Objekte in Berlin-Mitte und direkt am Rhein in Düsseldorf mit einem Gesamtinvestitionsvolumen von rund EUR 85 Millionen, welche die Peach Property Group vom deutschen Immobilienentwickler Vivacon AG übernimmt. Somit erhöht sich das aktuelle Gesamtinvestitionsvolumen der Projekte der Peach Property Group auf über EUR 385 Millionen.
Für weitere drei Objekte der Vivacon AG hat die Peach Property Group Anfang Juni einen Kaufvertrag beurkundet, welcher voraussichtlich bis Ende August vollzogen wird.

Mit dem Berliner Vorzeigeprojekt «Living 106» an der Chausseestrasse 106 übernimmt die Peach Property Group ein Objekt mit hervorragendem Entwicklungspotenzial. Nur wenige Meter entfernt liegt Berlins grösste Baustelle: das Hauptquartier des Bundesnachrichtendienstes (BND). Nicht zuletzt dieses Grossprojekt und die einmalige Lage machen die geplanten rund 54 Serviced Apartments und 21 Eigentumswohnungen zu einer attraktiven Investition. Düsseldorf „Luxuswohnungen by Philippe Starck“
In der Düsseldorfer Altstadt, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Rhein, wird das bestehende, denkmalgeschützte Theresienhospital im Rahmen der Umnutzung saniert. In Ergänzung des Altbaus entsteht an der Ritterstrasse ein Neubau mit 3 Townhouses und 4 Wohnungen. Mit Designelementen von Stardesigner Philippe Starck werden somit insgesamt 45 hochwertige Wohneinheiten sowie 2 Gewerbeeinheiten im Erdgeschoss realisiert. Die Wohnungsgrössen variieren zwischen 110 und 250 m2. Die Fertigstellung des Objekts ist für Herbst 2011 vorgesehen.
In Zusammenhang mit der Entwicklung der «Luxuswohnungen by Philippe Starck» in Düsseldorf übernimmt die Peach Property Group auch die Zusammenarbeit mit der YOO Ltd., dem exklusiven Lizenzgeber von Philippe Starck in Europa.
