Interest payment for the hybrid warrant bond deferred and bond to be continued

The Board of Directors of Peach Property Group AG, a real estate investor with an investment focus on residential real estate in Germany, will not call the outstanding amount of around CHF 45.5 million of the perpetual hybrid warrant bond (SWX: PEA231, ISIN: CH0417376040) as of the interest payment date on 22 September 2023. The perpetual hybrid warrant bond will thus be continued for the time moment. The interest accrued in the last quarter will be deferred in accordance with the bond’s terms and conditions and will not be paid for the time being. Future interest payments under the bond will also be deferred until the company decides to pay a dividend at a general meeting of shareholders or another mandatory payment event occurs in accordance with the terms and conditions of the bond.
Accordingly, the outstanding amount of the perpetual hybrid warrant bond remains on the balance sheet as equity. The company plans to redeem the perpetual hybrid warrant bond in full on one of the next call dates. The next possible call date is 22 December 2023.
With the decision, the company aims to monitor the development of the interest rate and real estate market in the coming months and to further optimise the liquidity structure of the Group.
